Saleh Faur opened the Petra Café, a namesake to pay homage to his country and birthplace of Jordan, in early 2003 and it quickly became a “must-visit” Fayetteville staple in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville.

Serving authentic Mediterranean food in a 22-seat space, it provides a cozy and personal dining experience that is sure to leave your stomach (and your heart) full.

A $2 sharing charge applies when an entrée is shared between two guests.

Our favorite vegetarian platter of hummus, 3 falafil with tahini, baba banoush, and tabbouleh.
2. Mayo Platter
We offer either beef/lamb gyros or chicken gyros topped with taziki sauce and paired with your choice of two side items.
3. Grapes Leaves Platter
Six rice and herb stuffed grape leaves in tomato sauce, served with your choice of side item.
4. Hummus Plus
Large portion of hummus, 3 falafil with tahini, and a side of tabbouleh.
5. Foule Combo
Our warm foule modammas paired with hummus, 3 falafil, tahini, and lots of garlic sauce.

Flavorful, filled with panko bread crumbs, pine nuts, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese.
Falafil Salad
The most perfect salad there ever was. We spread a plate with hummus, then top it with fresh greens, red cabbage, red onion, tomatoes, cucumber, more hummus, and falafel crumbles. Served with tahini and spiced garlic dressing.
